Business Development Manager 

This is a new role based in Acton for a removals and storage company who are fast growing, it will be perfect for someone wanting to roll-up their sleeves and carve out an important and broad business role for themselves. You will be an integral part of our small team, responsible for generating new corporate / commercial business through active prospecting and sales. You need to be a self-motivated sales professional, focused on generating and developing opportunities in the corporate market and representing the organisation with all potential new customers. You will have the opportunity to drive leads to conclusion and also follow some of those leads into account management. 

The role will include:
New Business Development 
Create a strategic sales plan to increase company revenues within agreed target groups
Cold Calling of key decision makers for the purpose of cultivating relationships to acquire new leads in UK and beyond 
Pipeline Management - Grow relationships and network to monitor current and acquire new leads 
Turn leads into meetings / discussions 
Present capabilities and pitch to a very high standard in order to win new clients Negotiation and closing commercial removal/storage agreements 
Responsibility for small number of key accounts, in conjunction with inside sales and move management teams 
Responsible for delivering all aspects of agreed yearly major promotional events (removals/storage) 
Planning of stands, promotional materials, attending events
Pre-and post-event marketing and follow-up 

Role Requirements:
Must have a strong sales background ideally within Removals, relocation or similar industrial type industry 
A track record of high achievement in a target driven environment 
Can clearly demonstrate strong networking abilities - an excellent people person 
Experience prospecting and hunting for new business as well as the development of a pipeline in the local market 

Hours of the role are 08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Friday, salary is depending on experience basic from £30/40k per annum with the opportunity to earn an extra £10,000 OTE.
