Job Title: Engineering Development and Training Manager
Based: From home
Hours: 43 per week + overtimes and call out
One of UK`s market leading company in the commercial catering equipment sales and services have an opening within the team. Due to continued growth and success an opportunity as arisen for the right individual to join the team.
A time served commercial catering engineer is required to assist with the continued growth and success of the business. Must possess previous experience in training and developing commercial catering engineers. As the businesses grows, the service team expands. As an investor in people the business would like to continually develop employees skills and abilities to provide customers with the most efficient and effect service as possible. This I s a unique and an exciting opportunity as no each day is the same. The business is a growing one that offers plenty of over time, training, further professional development and realist career progression prospects.
This role would ideally suit an experienced engineer gas qualified engineer with the addition engineering training and development experience. It is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a well ran, respectful and successful company. The right person for this role would be well rounded and knowledgeable, efficient in fault finding with a track record of a high first fix rate. This role would ideally suit a Senior Engineer looking for that move up.
Technical Manager, Service Manager, Support Manager, Senior Catering Engineer, Training Manager, Development Manager, Regional Service Manager.
- Responsible for Training on new equipment
- Establishing training schedules
- Establishing engineering development plans.
-Ensuring that skill levels are maintained and that appropriate training is provided when necessary, either internally or by manufacturers, so they can perform safely, effectively and profitably.
- Ensuring that all aspects of Health and Safety are covered including CoSHH and rewriting Risk Assessments
- Carrying out the assessment interview
- Demonstrating safe systems of work procedures
- Sourcing and training of new engineers
- Reactive and prevention maintenance of full range of catering equipment
- Attending emergency break downs
- Field based position with door to door pay
- On call rota of 1 in 4
- Plenty of overtime available
Essential minimum requirement:
- ComCat 1,3 & 5
- Previous engineering training and development experience
- Commercial catering equipment experience
- Driving licence
Advantageous requirement but not essential:
- ComCat 2 & 4
- Laundry experience
- Competitive salary (negotiable; dependant on experience)
