My client an SME based in Wolverhampton are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Office Manager for a small internal team. This is a permanent full time position paying up to £30k + 10% bonus.
The purpose of the role is to establish and manage effective programmes to develop, coach, appraise and train the Sales Team personnel.
The main tasks are as listed below
Manage short, medium and long term, day-to-day sales activity inclusive of managing and development of sales personnel.
Implement short and long term sales strategies
Assist sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with decision makers
Be responsible for market development and building customer relationships
Liase with Sales reps and co-ordinate accounts accordingly
Monitor procedures and ensure records are comprehensively administered- use develop, develop and continual improve reporting mechanisms.
Work with the sales team to ensure the delivery of quality customer service at all times.
Ensure all customers and potential customers are treated with professionalism, courtesy and respect at all time.
Work with the sales teams to ensure improvements to and efficiency of sales order process.
Previous management and team building experience essential
Previous sales order processing experience essential
Ability to use, develop and manage day to day reporting as required
Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team
Positive, outgoing with a confident disposition
Pro-active and able to work without close supervision
Active and flexible team player, contributing and developing solutions,
Excellent communicator both internally and externally in all mediums, ability to understand and summarise customer feedback
Ability to manage and lead a team
