Our family-owned Manufacturing Client are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join our client in Somerset.
You will be leading, coaching and developing a shift of 2 team leaders and up to 60 colleagues, you will stress the importance of working with pace and accuracy and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ensuring all KPIs and business targets are achieved, you'll make sure your team understands how vital the role they perform is to our customers.
With knowledge of warehouse management systems, proven analytical skills and experience of shift supervision gained in a warehousing environment, you'll focus on inspiring high performance levels and effectively managing a diverse workforce. You'll be confident and flexible with superb communication skills and you'll know exactly how to gain respect from your team.

-Maintain training matrix and ensure employees are adequately trained and competent within their role
-Be responsible for achieving operational targets, goals and contractual KPI's
-Monitoring performance to ensure the high performance levels are achieved
-In conjunction with Operations Manager implement warehouse systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvement
-Planning accurate daily information to enable effective handover
-Ensure all warehouse staff comply with H&S regulations
-Proven supervisory/ management experience within high volume warehousing environment
-Knowledge of warehouse management systems
-Knowledge of safe use and maintenance
-Proven experience of H&S regulations and implementation in warehouse environment
-Excellent PC skills
-Good communicator both verbal and written
-Good knowledge and experience of disciplinary/ grievance procedures
-Stock control experience
