Our family-owned Manufacturing Client are looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader to join our client in Somerset.
You will be leading, coaching and developing a team of up to 20 colleagues, you'll know the importance of working with pace and accuracy to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ensuring all KPIs and business targets are achieved, you'll ensure that your team understands how vital the role they perform is to our customers.
With knowledge of warehouse management systems, proven analytical skills and experience or team leadership gained in a warehouse environment, you'll focus on inspiring high performance levels and effectively managing a diverse workforce.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
-Managing a team of warehouse team members
-Be responsible for achieving operational targets, goals and contractual KPIs
-To manage and motivate the team by giving direction and leadership
-Monitoring performance to ensure the team achieves high performance levels
-To ensure operational targets are met on a weekly and monthly basis
-To provide accurate daily information to enable effective handover
-Ensure warehouse staff comply with H&S regulations
Job Specific Skills and Attributes:
-Previous work within a warehouse environment
-Knowledge of warehouse management systems
-Proven experience of supervising/ management a team
-Excellent PC skills
-Good communication both verbal and written
-Ability to work on own initiative, working to strict deadlines
-Working knowledge of warehousing H&S regulations
What we offer:
-£19,000 - £21,000
-Monday - Friday 42.5 hours per week
