Job Details

Due to the continued growth, a well-established company based in Burton upon Trent are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their business on a permanent contract.

The main purpose of the Account Manager will be to enter accurate information regarding customers into the internal database, data processing, liaising with both clients and suppliers, and problem solving. You will be expected to work both as an individual and as part of a team in order to ensure that our clients always receive the level of service that we promise them.

Key Areas of Accountability:

Data entry and the processing of invoices.

The formulation of payment batches using Microsoft Excel in a format the client stipulates.

Liaising with both clients and suppliers in order to ensure any problems are resolved and tasks are met on time.

Managing your workload in a time critical and efficient way in order to avoid an unnecessary build-up.

Ensuring the system is kept up to date on a frequent basis so that we are always one step ahead and therefore better able to react.

Handling company correspondence, emails and phone calls as part of a wider team.

Quarterly site visits to read the utility meters.

Person Specification:

Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) grade B in Maths and English

A motivated and enthusiastic individual competent of working both individually and as part of a team in an office environment.

Well organised and proactive in providing timely, efficient and accurate data to clients, office managers and work colleagues even whilst under pressure.

Excellent spelling and proofreading skills are a must for this role to ensure the continuation of our right first time' philosophy. However, as this role focuses most of the workload on the use and maintenance of not only our own system, but those of our clients as well.

The ideal candidate will need excellent computer and analytical skills. As they are a smaller, though rapidly growing business, you will also need to be approachable and friendly, as well as willing to take on general office tasks and be open to the idea of joining a more multi skilled and therefore more effective work force.

This role includes site visits so it is essential that you have a full, clean driving license, this may also include occasional time spent away from home dependant on where you are visiting.

In return the company are offering a stable and secure working environment within modern offices an established team environment that likes to develop and invest in their work force. Working Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with a salary of 16,000pa plus bonus structure. A company car will also be provided.
