We are looking to recruit on an on going temporary basis an experienced Fares and Ticketing assistant to join a prestigious, award winning organisation based in Burton on Trent.
As part of the flights team you will be responsible for making sure that ticketing deadlines are met, that files and paperwork are correct before being passed to other departments, and dealing with day to day issues as they arise.
Main Responsibilities -
Creating and claiming bookings.
Spreadsheets and Traveller/Atlas
Sending manifests to airlines.
Creation and updating of various spreadsheets.
Dealing with requests on the workflow.
Sending updates to airlines.
Competencies required -
Amadeus user or any GDS experience.
Good knowledge of fares and CAT25/35 ticketing.
Accurate keyboard skills.
Excellent attention to detail
A good command of English, written and spoken
Ability to work as part of a team, but also on their own initiative when necessary
Good telephone and communication skills.
A good working knowledge of excel spreadsheets.
Excellent administration skills.
