Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for our top 100 firm of accountants based in Winchester, who are offering a permanent Accounts Manager vacancy to join their team.

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with this prestigious practice, based within central Winchester. They have a varied client base across small to medium clients, assisting with accounting, audit and taxation, as well as general advisory.

The Accounts Manager position will involve:

- Managing a portfolio of clients within the practice.
- Finalise statutory accounts.
- Reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff.
- Provide training support to junior team members.
- Review VAT and CIS returns and provide support to Corporation Tax Returns.
- Attend client meetings as correspond as required.

As a successful applicant for the Accounts Manager position, you will be actively working within a practice based environment at present and have knowledge of working with statutory accounting. You will hold a formal qualification, ACCA would be desirable however a minimum of AAT (or equivalent) will be expected. Strong communication skills will be expected as this is a client facing role, with mentorship to junior level staff and prior exposure to Iris, Sage Line 50, Xero and Excel will be highly beneficial.
