Sheridan Maine are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller who is required for a brand which has built an excellent reputation and undergone significant growth over the last couple of years.
The main focus of this role will be business partnering and providing accounting services, whilst financially upskilling key stake holders and working with Regional Managing Directors to enhance the insightfulness of the Management reporting packs.
You will act as a key point of contact, maintaining and developing critical relationships and leading a team of 10 part-qualified and qualified Accountants. As a Financial Controller for the business, you will support the development of a new financial reporting pack and ensure that a stringent control framework is maintained and continually evolved as the business grows. This all encompassing role will also entail management of the Compliance Team, including reviewing the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring Finance is effectively represented at Senior Management meetings.
To be considered, applicants will be a qualified Accountant and hold strong technical accounting skills as well as having a controls background. You will be passionate about service, have the ability to build strong relationships and enjoy leading change as well as having proven leadership experience.
