Sheridan Maine are recruiting on behalf of an Accountancy Practice who are offering a new, permanent Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior job in their Chandlers Ford offices.
This role is working within a highly regarded and recognisable firm of Accountants. The Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior job will involve:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for a variety of clients.
- Preparation of management accounts on a quarterly basis in line with client requirements.
- Assisting with audit preparation and on-site visits.
- Calculation of Corporation Tax for companies.
- Maintaining VAT and bookkeeping records for completion of periodic returns.
- Company secretarial duties as required.
As a successful applicant for the Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior position, you will be actively working within a Practice environment and have experience in at least one of the above duties. You will be actively studying towards a recognised Accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) and have experience working with accounts preparation software such as Iris. Strong communication skills and wider knowledge of Excel and Word will be required.
