6 Month Contract

350 to 450 per day

Our client, a prestigious utilities organisation affecting every UK household, is looking to add an Interim Senior Buyer to its influential HQ purchasing function.

Working across the Professional Services and Corporate Services categories, you'll use a range of commercial purchasing skills such as negotiation, project management and relationship management.

We're looking for energetic, results focussed people with some experience of procurement. A good appreciation of procurement processes, strategic sourcing and category process is essential. You'll also need the communication and negotiation skills to build productive relationships with customers and suppliers.

Essential Skills and Qualifications :

Evidence of complex strategic procurement Not PO Processing

Hit the ground running

Running procurement projects Not senior level experience

Experience of following a structured process

OJEU experience

Experience of energy, utilities or regulated procurement would be helpful but is not essential, providing you are highly analytical and able to get to grips with new information quickly.

Influencing without authority

Strong communication skills

Good analytical skills

Tenacious and challenging

Experience of working with a disparate group of stakeholders
