Job Details

Our client is looking at opening a new office. They have a very bright and talented surveyor, who has been chosen to front the initial infrastructure of the office and start developing a team. The business specialises with the high end commercial sector with the big blue chip insurance, funds and financial institutions, leading commercial developers in the top UK 50, plus blue chip occupiers. They hold a dynamic team of professionals who take their role very seriously and engage in a highly competent way of delivery. The role is very much split between a sophisticated technical specialism and the ability to socialise and communicate with highly educated and demanding clients. The company has a diverse range of instructions from small and large scale CAT A and B projects to dilapidations, acquisition surveys, and building surveys.

In terms of the APC they have an excellent record of supporting their staff in technical development and can assure you, successful completion is very much encouraged. Companies from this type of sector need to see staff progressing since clients demand the MRICS qualified surveyors to work on their instructions. The role you will undertake is to support the Senior Surveyor and follow every instruction asked of you as he will be under huge pressure himself to make a success of this situation, with the eyes of his peers monitoring his every move.

You will be expecting to receive a good salary (£28,000 - £32,000 Depending on experience – perhaps more) and technical APC support, in return for your services as an initial benefit to any agreement. The key inspiration behind the opportunity is a chance to share in the success and receive equal amounts of credibility for this success. Ideally this opportunity will be fast tracking a career to levels which would ultimately take years to achieve and being in a key position of authority as the office grows.
