Are you a skilled Events Sales Coordinator, experienced managing an event from query, through to function sheet and delivery? A truly unique opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic organisation operating from a historical building in the heart of the city. Joining a team of 3 the Sales and Events Coordinator will help to arrange the delivery of bespoke events from 10 to 250 guests.

This is full-time permanent opportunity paying £25,000 + Bonus + excellent benefits including free daily lunches.
This role reports directly to the Head of Event Sales

Core duties of the Sales and Events Co-ordinator:

- Conduct client tastings and visits with a focus on the customer journey
- Ensure proactive/reactive correspondence with all potential clients (account management)
- Contribute to the achievement of monthly team targets
- Full-service event management and client liaison
- Contribute to monthly sales meetings
- Liaise with external suppliers for catering, flowers, AV etc
- Help to maintain the media library
- Collate testimonials for the marketing team's use

Skills/attributes required of the Sales and Events Co-ordinator:

- A proven track record of events sales experience and meeting targets
- Demonstrable experience of delivering a portfolio of events on-site
- A positive and helpful approach to customers and colleagues
- Ability to develop a strong understanding of the local market/competitor activity
- Passionate about providing a superior customer experience
- Negotiation skills
