We are looking to speak to experienced Production Steering and Distribution Technician with previous Automotive background.

You will be looking to take the next step in your automotive production/ logistics career and lead a team of two technicians on shift, and be willing to cover night shifts as required. You will be a willing team lead who can advise and supervise this small but integral team in their work and methods, keeping an eye on productivity and timeliness. You will have a solid background in the automotive sector.

Job Overview:

You will take responsibility for Steering Body Production to achieve on-time assignment of Bodies into Paint, Monitoring Paint to achieve on-time assignment of Orders onto Assembly. You will work closely with Test and Finish to achieve on-time F2; steering the timely handover of vehicles in the dispatch process.

Key Accountabilities:

•Represent UR-T-13 on late shift dealing with issues and enquiries as appropriate. Following up with team members on opposite shift

•Assignment of Bodies to Orders

•Sequencing of Orders into Paint taking into account Throughput time

•Sequencing of Bodies onto Assembly using the Master Sequence

•Assist the Dispatch of Finished vehicles

•Support IPS-L activities within UR-T-13

•Reporting to the Daily morning meeting and End of Shift handover report

KPI's:

•Into Paint Adherence

•Assembly Launch Adherence

•F2 Adherence

•FFM's, PAM's and Production Managers within Assembly and Paint depts.

•Colleagues in Logistics, Leather-shop, Wood-shop and Quality depts.

•Sales Support Managers in UR-V-O.

•Staff of Service Provider (eg Bestlog)

•Contact Partners in Plant Dingolfing TD-13

Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge of BMW Production Systems, Einstein, IPS-L, SAP -

Excellent communication skills
