Reporting to the Global Support Manager based in the US, you will liaise with ProjectProduct Managers, Developers, the Support Team and Sales in order to facilitate ONSITE REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, SYSTEM DESIGN, INSTALLATION, SYSTEM TESTING AND TRAINING for my client's LABELLING SOLUTIONS SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS across Europe and the US.
75 % of the role will involve assisting customers in the IMPLEMENTATION, CONFIGURATION and VALIDATION of global labelling solutions from requirements to 24/7 support handover (rotational 24x7 coverage is required, expected to be approximately 1 week of every 6 +/-) and you will provide SECOND-LINE TECHNICAL SUPPORT as required; Support activities include logging calls within the Issue tracking system, over the phone assistance, performing problem investigation / verification, providing work-arounds, providing customer feedback and updates and closing calls.
Implementation is expected to be 25% of the role with Customer Support and other internal duties for the balance.
Travel is expected to be no more than 25%.
You will also get involved in building of systems for internal testing and proof of concept using Microsoft Windows servers and clients, Software Testing - informal and formal running of test scripts, building of test environments using Microsoft Windows servers and clients
