KS1/2 'Booster' Teacher - 3 days per week - Gateshead - Phonics and Literacy 'Booster' Teacher

A Gateshead Primary school is seeking a fully qualified teacher to provide 'booster' intervention sessions, focussing on Phonics and Literacy across KS1 and KS2. Ideally, the position is for 3 days per week (either Mon-Wed or Tues-Thurs) and is full-time. In particular, as the school follows the 'Read Write Inc' scheme of phonics, experience of this is preferential though not essential.

If you hold FULL QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and feel that you are confident in teaching Phonics and Literacy in the Primary Setting, please don't hesitate to send your CV into Clint at The Education Network (Newcastle).

The Education Network pays between £100 and £140 per day for daily cover (significantly above industry standard) and the role of the day-to-day supply teacher involves no planning or assessment (other than daily marking of books)…the perfect way to improve your work life balance. For those seeking permanent, long-term work, we increase our pay rates accordingly (AWR). Similarly, we offer our supportive schools the opportunity to appoint long-term cover without fees - meaning that our staff who impress are rewarded with permanent contracts direct with schools (if they so wish).

The Education Network is part of Pertemps Network Group, one of the largest independent recruitment companies in the UK and 2nd in the annual Sunday Times' 2016 Grant Thornton Top Track 250 companies. We are committed to Safer Recruitment and recruit to Compliance+ standards. Any appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check in addition to other safeguarding checks. The Education Network is an equal opportunities employer. The Education Network is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.

Due to the expected high-volume of applications we receive, only short-listed candidates will be contacted - expected to be within 3 working days of application.
