A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a University Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant within Primary Schools in Ipswich, Suffolk and the surrounding areas. This work could lead onto you gaining a funded teacher trainee position as we help you to gain experience through short-term and longer-term positions.

SALARY: £16,000 - £17,500 for Full-Time. £60 - £70 per day for Supply Bookings
CONTRACT: Temporary and Permanent

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, who can work on their own initiative and should have at least a 2:2 degree.

The schools we represent in Ipswich are seeking professional University Graduates to initially work as a classroom teaching assistant, you would be flexible in your approach and adapt to the needs of the school environment on a daily basis.
Cover will range across the Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2 and working under the guidance of our client schools' teaching staff, you will support pupils in and out of the classroom. Duties will include undertaking administrative duties, provide teaching support and assist with lunchtime duties at the school.

Graduate Teaching Assistants should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise with both students and teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to a good standard and that you work collaboratively with the class teachers at the school.
