School Business Manager - opportunities in Buckinghamshire

Education Network is delighted to be working within Buckinghamshire and we have been engaged to recruit for School business Managers for a couple of positions with in the county. These schools are varying from Good to outstanding. We are looking for both permanent and long term candidates in this county. Are you looking for a new permanent position or a Long term opportunity?

This role is integral to the strategic leadership of the school the successful candidate must be a confident leader who can function well as part of a team, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a "can-do" attitude, be highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and forward thinking business manager to support our Headteacher in leading our school from good to outstanding.

The ideal candidate will have

o Sound experience of financial management and budgetary control in schools or equivalent
o Experience of ICT and Sage 50
o Supervise the Administrative systems within the school.
o An understanding of facilities management including Health and Safety
o The ability to identify, research, develop, cost and implement new initiatives
o An ability to secure funding through researching and applying for resources
o Management, marketing and letting of school buildings
o Staff Management of Finance Manager and Finance assistant.
o A high degree of motivation to be fully committed to work in a school environment.
o Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Ideally we are looking for someone with

" Experience of supporting a Senior Leadership Team
" Experience of leading the budgetary manager and control within an organisation
" Knowledge and experience of a variety of financial management systems.
" Understanding of school management and governing bodies.

We offer a competitive remuneration package for the right person, the core hours of work will be 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility in working hours will be required with the expectation of unsociable hours from time to time. This will include weekends and evenings.
