Job Details

I am looking for a part time Finance Assistant to provide financial and administrative support to my client's business in day to day book keeping tasks, as well as to assist other departments in finance related matters.

The role will be 32 hours per week, over 4 days

Duties include:
Accounts Payable:
" Setting up new supplier accounts, matching Good Receipt Notes to Invoices, matching Invoices to Purchase Orders and entering into Construction Manager and the Accounts Package Sage 50, and filed.
" Reconciling supplier accounts to supplier statements.
" Managing accounts payable queries.
" Reconciling debit card and petty cash expenses to receipts.
" Processing staff expense claim forms.

Accounts Receivable:
" Raising customer applications and invoices and sending to customers.
" Inputting Customer invoices to Lloyds factoring service.
" Reconciling customer receipts to invoices.
" Chasing customers for payment dates.
" Reconciling customer receipts to invoices.

Treasury:
" Reconciling the bank accounts daily to Sage
" Setting up supplier payments
" Managing petty cash

Reporting:
" Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Requirements of the role:
" Previous experience in a similar role.
" Previous experience working in a manufacturing company would be desirable
" Possess or be studying towards your AAT level 2 qualification.
" Have a commitment to meet deadlines and a good eye for detail.
" Excellent communication skills & the ability to liaise with both finance and non-finance individuals.
" Be computer literate with good excel and Microsoft office skills.

The hourly rate for this assignment will range from 7.50-8.50ph depending on experience, plus standard company benefits: Weekly pay, Pension Scheme, Working for a Top 50 Sunday Times Best Company Employer who puts you first!
