You have an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in Shropshire. The business is currently undergoing a great deal of change, with a new MD, Ops Manager and UK HR Manager, its now time to add a dynamic, excitable QEHS Manager into the mix.
You will work closely with the Head of UK Operations to review and develop the business Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and ensure they are effectively communicated. You will work as a key point of professional technical advice whilst engaging the business at all levels through training, work shops and toolbox talks etc. As QEHS Manager you will be the key point of contact for all external bodies including the HSE and EA.
You must display experience of the following:
Qualified ideally to NEBOSH/NCRQ Diploma level
Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment
Proven ability of engaging challenging people at all levels of a business, from MD to machine operator
Previous experience of writing and embedding management systems extremely advantageous.
