If you are a talented and experienced Sous Chef looking for a challenge then this is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly motivated and experienced chef team at Heathrow Airport. As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for:
Working the Pass.
Running the kitchen team (between 25 - 40 people)
Checking the quality produced by each station.
Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas at all times
Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards
Working in a fast paced kitchen and work to set meal and portion plans
We would like to hear from individuals that have experience as chef, chef assistant, station chef, line cook, demi chef, chef de partie, commis chef, trainee chef, sous chef, continental cook, junior sous chef, executive sous chef, kitchen executive, kitchen supervisor, prep cook, job captain, banqueting chef.
To be considered for the role of Sous Chef:
2 years or more as a Sous Chef
Managing a team of 15 individuals or more
Experienced in working on the Pass
Demonstrate an ability to problem solve in a kitchen environment
Experience within a hotel, restaurant, banqueting, contract catering, cruise liner or similar environment would be desirable
Be able to commute easily and reside within travelling distance of London Heathrow Airport
You will be required to provide a five-year checkable history and a criminal record check as part of the interview process
