I am currently recruiting for a local client/authority based in Warwick, I am looking for a part time operations assistant who is available to start immediately. This is a part time role working Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00am to 11:00am.
The main responsibilities for the role would include:
To maintain excellent relationships with our customers. To be the initial point of contact and welcome the public, visiting companies, tenants, Councillor's, WDC staff and contractors into our buildings. To ensure that they are signed-in, briefed with relevant health and safety / housekeeping information, provided with their requirements and monitored. To deal with enquiries and ensure that positive relationships are maintained, at all times providing the highest standard of customer care.
To complete room set up and prepare event requirements, including AV and recording equipment. To ensure that deliveries and mail to the buildings are accepted, recorded and that the relevant individual receives it.
To assist the Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor in maintaining the safety of the public, performers, tenants, visitors, contractors and employees. To carry out all duties in accordance with Warwick District Council's Health and Safety policies and relevant legislation and work in such a way as to promote a culture of safety. To ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the licence granted by Warwick District Council. To report faulty equipment and health and safety concerns, including all near misses and accidents, to the Operations Manager immediately.
To monitor the fire panel, intruder alarm, plant and building fabric. To assist in the testing of fire panel, emergency lighting, legionella and other essential testing. To assist in evacuation drills / training.
Previous experience of working within the Operations Department of an Arts / entertainment / performance / hospitality venue
First Aid At Work qualification
Thorough knowledge and practical experience of Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and related legislation specific to the entertainments industry

Fire Marshall Training
