We are working with one of our partnership schools in Oldham, as they are looking for an Art Technician for a temporary period. This post is expected to run until July 2017. Whilst working at the school (Monday - Fridays, during school hours), you will be responsible for keeping the Art & Design studios clean, tidy, stocked with resources and you will also be needed to provide some teaching support to students during lessons.
This type of work is a perfect "taster" to people considering entering the teaching profession; every year we work with many graduates who are planning to apply for a PGCE course later in the school year.
To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following:
- Hold a degree in a related subject
- Have experience of keeping Art Studios clean, tidy, safe, and organised
- Have a patient approach to supporting students
- A passion to make a difference
- Current, up to date references which we can verify
