Aerospace Maintenance Technician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced maintenance technician to work for a leading aerospace company based in Mansfield. This will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
As a maintenance technical you will be responsible for keeping all machinery maintained in accordance with the companies guidelines.
The ideal candidate would come from an aerospace / automotive background and be a time served multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with solid experience.
Required Skills and Competences:
" Experience of working on CNC milling, conventional milling, grinding & Turning
" Qualified machine tool electrician to 17th edition. (Preferred)
" Sound pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.
" Sound mechanical experience.
" Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
" Supports the implementation of ongoing improvement projects within the Crown Farm Facility, offer cover as required at both the Sherwood Park and Rugby facility where required.
" To carry out preventative maintenance fault finding and testing work on all machines on an ongoing basis as documented within the Preventative maintenance schedule.
" Plays an active part in ensuring all machines are in line with current health and safety legislation.
" Maintains existing machine tools to achieve optimal levels of quality, efficiency and availability.
" Understands and adheres to all working operations on the manufacturing shop floor.
" Carries out risk assessments where required.
Hours of work:
Friday - Sunday
06.00 - 18.00
Three week rotational Shift
Mornings, Afternoons, Nights
