Building Water Co-ordinator/Administrator

This role is based in Reading, working 36 hours a week. We are offering a salary of up to £11 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What is the purpose of this role?
Our client, the UK's largest water and wastewater provider has a vacancy within their Developer Services team for a Building Water Coordinator/Administrator.
This challenging position will play a key role in helping the Building Water Team achieve their revenue targets. Reporting to the Revenue Collections Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
Investigating unrecorded building water supplies and negotiating a charge for the water used by estimating the water consumption to support our 'unaccounted for water' target. To achieve this, you will be expected to explore various channels of investigation & use your own initiative. Once identified you will be required to contact developers to discuss the use and source of the water they are using. You will also be responsible for helping coordinate field activities associated to the team and provide internal reports on the team's activity.
Main Accountabilities/Outputs
Maximise income by generating leads to ensure the team achieves its target.
Coordinate surveyors by planning their work, updating databases and documenting all work from start to finish.
Support all debt management.
Provide excellent customer service

Effective customer liaison skills are key to this pivotal role, preferably gained within the building developer marketplace. Good communications, both written and verbal and proven negotiating skills are required for this busy, ever evolving role.
We are looking for someone with a proven record of strong performance and ability to deliver results from a debt management, credit control or lead qualification/business development environment
Good understanding of the concept of building water usage, knowledge of new connections processes would be an advantage. You will have the ability to use the bespoke IT systems and competent in the use of Microsoft office.
