Behaviour Support Manager
The Education Network are exclusively working with a larger than average primary school that requires a Behaviour Manager / Inclusion Manager on a permanent basis.
To support teachers throughout the school in implementing the schools behaviour policy and keeping behaviour levels to a minimum. Diversion and de-escalation skills are key for this role.
To establish excellent working relationships and positive rapport with the pupils and to act as a positive role model / mentor.
You will be required to individually assess the needs of the pupils to ensure that learning and behavioural needs are being met.
Supporting students with EHC plans, predominantly with plans based around Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Applicant (you):
You will have a calm and empathetic nature with excellent communication and listening skills.
Leadership skills are essential as you will be required to provide support and delegation to the behaviour management team.
Ideally you will be Team Teach trained. However, this training can be provided to the successful applicant.
The school is a larger than average mainstream primary. The school has a higher than national average number of SEND students (with EHC plans).
This is a permanent job, on a temp to perm basis through The Education Network initially, to start as soon possible!
