SEN Teacher - Mainstream Primary School
The Education Network are exclusively working with a larger than average primary school that requires 2 x experienced SEN Teacher on a permanent basis.
To teach within a SEN unit attached to a large mainstream primary school based in Leeds. Teaching and supporting pupils diagnosed with autism and associated behavioural issues.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in accordance with pupils Individual Learning Plans (ILP's/IEP's) as well as ensuring the emotional needs and wellbeing of each pupil is catered for.
The Applicant (you):
A qualified teacher (QTS) experienced in teaching students with Additional Educational Needs (AEN) / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
You will have a calm and empathetic nature with excellent communication and listening skills. Patient and supportive with passion for teaching and being part of the growth and development of young pupils.
Ideally you will be Team Teach trained. However, this training can be provided to the successful applicant.
The school is a larger than average mainstream primary. The school has a higher than national average number of SEND students (with EHC plans).
This is a permanent job, on a temp to perm basis through The Education Network initially, to start as soon possible!
