If you are a senior interior designer looking for your next big challenge then this could be it!

I am representing an amazing studio who are looking to take on a talented and experienced senior designer.  Their aim is to create luxurious spaces for a broad spectrum of clients, including boutique hotels, and prime central London residential projects to name a few. The company is committed to delivering exceptional bespoke design services to clients, and this is a goal which continues to remain at the heart of the business. The Practice has been in operation for a number of years, and in that time have delivered a range of outstanding projects in London and internationally and has a work force of 20 designers employed on a permanent basis.

 Skills Required

• Ability to create and develop conceptual designs including the skill of using colour and texture

• Advanced skills in PhotoShop and possibly 3D Studio Max and/or Rhino

• Knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling)

• Experience in using AutoCAD, some knowledge of Studio software would be advantageous

• Self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback

• Ability to manage time and work flow of projects efficiently

• Quality experience dealing with suppliers and contractors

• Fully competent in producing detailed FF&E specification with costings, materials, finishes, and sanitary schedules

• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visual

• Exceptional attention to detail



• Managing a project’s efficiently, to program and budget

• Managing and briefing design team on live projects

• Mentoring and assisting junior and middleweight designers

• Managing the procurement of FF&E products

• Building and growing existing client relationships

• Ability to visualise concepts and explain them to others

• Developing detailed designs and choosing materials

• Working closely with the directors, you are expected to use your initiative on following up  new business    opportunities and attend networking events within the industry



• Managing a number of projects efficiently and to budget

• Managing the procurement of a number of FF&E products on multiple projects

• Implementing your presentation skills; demonstrating you represent the Fiona Barratt Interiors brand to clients and suppliers

• Inputting into resource allocation, working alongside Camilla on recruitment and internal resource requirements

• Developing your own network in the industry under the Fiona Barratt Interiors umbrella (introducing new suppliers and contractors)

• Spotting
