I am currently working with a fantastic 4* hotel in the Daventry area of Northamptonshire who are looking to recruit for a assistant sales office manager.
Purpose of the role - To proactively manage the conference coordination team to ensure the growth of the events business.
Responsibilities - ensure the department are proactively looking to generate revenue, maintain professionalism at all times, maintain company standards, contribute to the growth of conference and events business, support the co-ordination team through coaching and mentoring, complete monthly and annual reviews, ensure department training programmes are being attended, ensure all the team are up to date with latest procedures, report to department manager with results, actions and forecasted events.
The ideal candidate - Strong leadership and management skills, great communicator with fantastic interpersonal skills, previous experience managing large scale events.
