Hrs: Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:00hrs & Fri's 07:30-12:40hrs
Contract Type: 10 month FTC
Salary: £35K

Job Role
Our client, a well establish, manufacturing/engineering business, based in Lowton, require an experienced Accountant/Finance Controller for a minimum 10-month fixed term contract.
As the Assistant Financial Controller, your duties will be:
- Assist with budget preparation.
- Manage, control and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in month end processing.
- Consolidation of UK & European accounts.
- To oversee and assist in the day-to-day VAT Returns, Invoices, Aged Creditors and Debtors etc.
- Prepare accurate and timely journals.
The ideal Assistant Financial Controller will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Have solid experience working in a Finance/Accounting department.
- Must be minimum part qualified AAT.
- Experience os Syspro/SAP or Sage is ideal.
- Strong IT skills including Excel spreadsheets/pivot tables/formatting/Lookups and all Microsoft Office functions.
- Knowledge of fixed assets/depreciation/AP/AR/credit control is ideal.
- High level of analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
