Job Title:           Field Based Labourer/Installer
Location:           Birchwood, Warrington (WA3)
Salary:               £27,000 - £30,000 + overtime (DOE)
Shifts:                Monday- Friday – 08:30hr to 17:00hrs
Contract:            Permanent


Our client is a well-established, market leading business that design, manufacture and install glazing and other components for industries including healthcare, education & government.

As the Field Based Labourer/Installer, you will be working within a small team of installers, travelling nationally – with approx 2 nights away from home each week (paid for).
Due to the nature of the role and insurance purposes, you must be over 25 and hold a full UK driving with no more 3 points on your licence (no DR10’s or IN10’s)


As the Field Based Labourer/Installer, you will be;
  • Work as a team with other  installers, fitting glass panels, glazing systems, and canopy structures.
    • Help position, lift, and secure materials safely on-site.
    • Prepare installation areas (cleaning surfaces, setting out tools, conducting/checking measurements).
    • Maintain and store tools properly after use.
    • Assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment from vans.
    • Completion of all relevant paperwork.
    • Liaise with customers, maintaining a professional manner at all times.

As the Field Based Labourer/Installer, you will have the following skills /experience;
  • Previous experience within a Labouring/Joinery/Shop Fitting or Glazing or similar industry is essential.
    • CSCS card holder would be advantageous.
    • Ability to use power hand tools.
    • Ability to work at height.
    • Due to the nature of the role, you must be physically fit.
    • Due to insurance purposes, you must be over 25 and hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points (no IN10’s or DR10’s)
    • No criminal convictions – as you will need to undergo a DBS check.
    • You must be flexible to start earlier when required and work away from home approx. 2 nights per week (paid for)
