Job Description
Role: Production Operative/FLT
Location: Northern Ireland, Bangor BT19 7PB
Pay Rate: £13.41p/hr (Mornings) & £16.62p/hr (Afternoons)
Shifts: Mon–Thur 8am–4pm, Fri 8am-3pm, rotating weekly to Mon–Thur 4pm–12midnight, Friday 3pm–10pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing (with potential of becoming permanent)

Applicants will be required to work on site specialising in Compounds and adhesives for the Automotive and Aerospace industry, with strong international export links.

As the Production Operative/FLT, your duties will be:
- Setting up production machines.
- Low level maintenance and running of a manufacturing line as part of a team in order to deliver at the required productivity levels.
- Monitoring the production process.
- Operating the production machinery as required, such as lifting equipment and FLT trucks.
- General housekeeping duties.
- Adhering to all safety & quality rules and procedures.
The successful Production Operative/FLT will have the following skills/experience:
- Machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (client will provide training and will consider strong candidates with a desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing site, and comfortable with shift work).
- Ideally a valid and accredited FLT Counterbalance licence.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Comfortable with basic IT systems to report production outputs.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good physical strength and dexterity.
- Excellent verbal communicator.
