Title:                  Vehicle Re-Fit Operative

Location:           Birchwood, Warrington

Salary:                £13.50 per hour

Shifts:                 Monday- Friday Monday- Friday 08:00- 16:30

Contract Type:  Temp- perm

 

 

Due to continued expansion and increased workload, our client—an industry leader within their field—is looking to recruit several additional Vehicle Re-Fit Operatives to join their busy workshops in the Warrington area.

 

This business prides itself on high standards of workmanship and is seeking individuals who have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing quality work.

 

As a Vehicle Re-Fit Operative, you will be involved in the conversion and modification of small commercial vehicles. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role where quality, precision, and attention to detail are essential.

 

 

As a Vehicle Re-Fit Operative your duties will be: -

 

  • Assisting with the conversion of small commercial vehicles.

    • Installation of racking and lighting systems.

    • Using hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, spanners, etc.)

    • Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate job records.

    • Ensuring high standards of workmanship at all times.

    • Initial training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop within the role.

 

 

The successful Vehicle Re-Fit Operative will have the following skills: - 

 

  • Must have full UK driving licence.

    • Previous vehicle re-fit experience is desirable, but not essential.

    • Candidates from similar hands-on or trade backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including: 

      • Motorbike mechanics or enthusiasts.

      • Coachbuilders / bodybuilders.

      • Vehicle conversion specialists.

      • Individuals with general mechanical or electrical experience.

    • Confident using a range of hand and power tools.

    • Strong attention to detail is essential.

    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

    • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

 

 

Additional Information

 

  • 40 hours per week.

    • Opportunity to secure a permanent position following successful completion of the trial period.
