Job Title:            Van Driver 

Location:            Saint Helens (WA10)

Salary:                 £13.05 per hour

Hours:                 Monday- Friday (45 hours per week).

Contract:            Temporary to Permanent

 

 

Our client is UK based specialist transport and carrier company. They focused on secure temperature

Control logistics for health care pharmaceutical medical and clinical trial sectors across the UK and Ireland. 

 

As a Van Driver your duties will be: -

 

• Deliver pharmaceutical products, including controlled drugs, to retail and residential premises.
  
  
• Complete 20–60 deliveries per day, depending on the delivery area.
  
  
• Follow pre-planned and time-sensitive routes.
  
  
• Handle all products safely and securely.
  
  
• Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.
  
  
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues promptly.
  
  
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is clean and secure.
  
  

The successful Van Driver will have the following skills: - 

 

• Full UK driving licence.
  
  
• DBS check requirement.
  
  
• Due to the nature of the business and insurance purposes applicants must be age 21 and over.
  
  
• Must have less than 6 points on a license 
  
  
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
  
  
• Excellent time management and punctuality.
  
  
• Ability to follow planned routes and schedules.
  
  
• Good communication and customer service skills.
  
  
• Reliable, responsible, and safety conscious.
  
  
• Ability to handle deliveries securely and professionally.
  
  
• No CD/DD/DR Endorsements.
