Pay: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

Our client in Newport is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Assembly Operator to join their production team. This role is key to supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring products are assembled accurately and meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling products and components in line with work instructions

• Picking, kitting, and preparing materials for production

• Following basic technical diagrams or instructions where required

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure consistency and standards are met

• Handling small components with care and precision

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace

• Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy

• Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet targets

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse environments is beneficial but not essential

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts

• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Basic IT skills are an advantage
