Pertemps are looking for a Machine Operator for our manufacturing clinet in Hortonwood 

The Role of a Machine Operator

We are recruiting a Process Operator / Tool Slinger-Setter to support injection moulding, packaging and automation processes within a busy manufacturing environment. You will help ensure products meet quality standards, production targets are achieved, and health and safety procedures are maintained at all times. 

Key Responsibilities of a Machine Operator:

• Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently. 
  
  
• Operate packaging and automation machinery as required. 
  
  
• Load tooling into machinery and assist with machine set-up. 
  
  
• Develop towards independent machine setting following training and assessment. 
  
  
• Monitor product quality and take corrective action where required. 
  
  
• Meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. 
  
  
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards. 
  
  
• Support colleagues and other production areas when required. 

What We're Looking For in a Machine Operator:

• Basic process knowledge and understanding of machine controls. 
  
  
• Understanding of quality standards and product specifications. 
  
  
• Good awareness of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment. 
  
  
• Reliable team player with good communication skills. 
  
  
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
