MIG Welder

Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our well-established client based in Smethwick.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing business. The ideal candidate will have solid MIG welding experience, working with mild steel components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components to precise specifications
• Weld end plates and pin stools
• Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
• Work with mild steel thicknesses ranging from 5mm to 25mm
• Ensure all welding meets quality and industry standards

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday, 06:30 am – 4:15 pm (Fridays off) – 37.5 hours per week
• Plenty of overtime available

Pay Rate:

• £14.00 per hour
• Permanent position offered after a successful trial period
