Warehouse / FLT Driver

Location: Wednesbury
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Ongoing

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse / Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join their busy warehouse team on a temporary ongoing basis.

This is a varied role combining forklift truck operation with general warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment. A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring goods are handled with care.
  
  
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
  
  
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and assisting with stock organisation.
  
  
• Carrying out goods-in and goods-out duties.
  
  
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards.
  
  
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required to support the team.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
  
  
• Has previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
  
  
• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
  
  
• Can work independently as well as part of a team.
  
  
• Has good attention to detail and can follow health and safety procedures.
  
  
• Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties when required.
