Yard Operative/FLT Driver

Pertemps are looking for a Yard Operative/FLT driver for our leading material supplier based in West Bromwich.

 

Duties include but aren't limited to:

• Loading and unloading vehicles with use of FLT counterbalance
  
  
• Dealing with customer collections
  
  
• Stock location
  
  
• Picking and packing ready for customer collection
  
  
• Supporting the warehouse manager in the day to day running of the yard/warehouse
  
  
• Keeping the yard and warehouse organised and tidy
  
  

 

 

What you’ll need:

• A valid FLT counterbalance certificate and experience
  
  
• Previous yard/warehouse experience
  
  
• Flexibility as overtime may be required to ensure customer satisfaction
  
  
• Willingness to learn products/product knowledge
  
  
• A good level of customer service skills 
  
  
• Ability to work well as part of a team 
  
  

The hours of work are 08:00am-17:00pm Monday to Thursday and 08:00am-16:00pm on Fridays paying £13.55 per hour. This will be a temporary to permanent role for the right candidate.
