Compliance & Vetting Administrator

Location: Pertemps West Bromwich
Salary: £13.33 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary – 10 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for a Compliance & Vetting Administrator to join our busy team and support our recruitment operation during the Royal Mail peak period.

Working alongside our recruitment team, you will be responsible for processing candidates through the vetting and compliance stage, ensuring all required information and documentation is accurate, complete and processed within the required timescales.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organised, computer literate and has excellent attention to detail, and who enjoys working in a busy team environment.

The Role

Once candidates have been recruited and their details passed across by the recruitment team, you will take responsibility for progressing them through the vetting and compliance process.

Duties of the Compliance & Vetting Administrator:

  • Processing candidate information accurately onto the relevant systems

    • Entering and updating candidate details

    • Checking documentation and information for completeness and accuracy

    • Completing required vetting and compliance checks

    • Identifying missing, incorrect or incomplete information

    • Liaising with the recruitment team where further information or documentation is required

    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records

    • Ensuring candidates progress through the process efficiently and within required timescales

    • Working to project deadlines and targets

    • Handling confidential candidate information appropriately

Requirements of the Compliance & Vetting Administrator:

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

    • Confident using computers and learning new systems

    • Accurate and methodical when processing information

    • Comfortable working with a high volume of data and administration

    • Able to follow set processes and procedures

    • Good at spotting errors, discrepancies or missing information

    • Strong communication skills

    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    • Professional, reliable and consistent

    • Flexible and willing to support the wider team when required
