Technical Sales Representative
My client are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their well-established business which manufactures and installs industrial doors, shutters and gates from their premises in Coleshill. Preferably with previous experience in the Industrial door market sector, technical sales, estimating, site surveying and contract managing experience would also be desirable. Three years previous technical sales experience in the Industrial door/gate & shutter sector is essential for potential candidates.
Ideally you will have a strong Electrical and Mechanical background, together with excellent communication and IT skills. A full driving is essential as client site visits will be required.
Based out of their Coleshill premises you will be expected to service existing customers and identify new business with a view to building long term customer relationships. You will have a good deal of autonomy to maximise your time, but will also need to be able work as part of a team. The role will be split roughly 50/50 between the office and attending clients sites.
Duties will include:
• Identifying and establishing new business growth;
• Developing long term customer relationships;
• Service existing customers and maximise their potential;
• Offering technical support to customers;
• Organising sales visits;
• Help produce quotations;
• Capable of negotiating contracts, terms and conditions;
• Provide after sales support;
• Provide support in marketing initiatives for the company.
A competitive salary/package will be offered to the right person (with a salary in the region of £30k) and the package will include a company car.
