The Warehouse Supervisor will be based in the Leamington Plant and attracts a salary of £28000-£31000 per annum dependant on skills and experience.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for:

Ensuring FLT drivers are carrying out their daily duties to the work instruction
Ensuring FIFO are in control by using WHS
Monitoring Parts at Risk
Management of WHS
Ensure that the Operating Instructions for waste disposal are followed
Be aware of the Emergency Instructions

Main Responsibilities

Inbound stock: safe receipt; comprehensive inbound audit process
Warehouse: overseeing warehouse management system; racking strategies; accuracy; health and safety
FLT drivers: ensure production cells have uninterrupted supply of component parts
Goods outbound: oversee Team Leaders to ensure materials are delivered to customer RFT and on time
Process adherence: Oversee training documentation; skills matrix; alerts and FLT check sheets
Responsible for 5S & UET management in Logistics controlled areas
Report KPIs into Logistics Manager
Responsible for a team of 24 drivers/supervisors; carry out annual performance reviews
Ensure technical standards are met
Identify areas of continuous improvement, and put actions in place to achieve them
Optimise labour through reduction of absenteeism, holiday planning and manning strategy
Uphold Company HR strategy relating to discipline

The Candidate:

Must have previous experience of managing a warehouse and/or delivery operation
Have good understanding/experience of manufacturing JIT environment, preferably automotive
People management experience
Computer literate on Microsoft Office
SAP Software experience. Experience with similar software would be considered
Logistics and Inventory Control experience is essential preferably automotive
Experience in dealing with high demanding customers
Must have good interpersonal skills
Able to work under pressure
Ability to communicate effectively
FLT licence
