We are recruiting experienced FLT Bendi / Flexi Driver to join a major automotive plant in the North Birmingham area, easily accessible from Hockley, Aston, Perry Barr and Central.

This is a market leading logistics company within the UK. All applicants for this role MUST hold experience as a FLT Bendi / Flexi driver with 12 months minimum MHE experience. Reach and/or Counterbalance licences would offer an additional advantage but are not essential
.

Your duties will often be carried out in narrow gangways, working alongside a busy team of Assembly Operatives, Machinists and Technicians.

You must therefore have the confidence to manoeuvre a range of different product types (i.e., stillages, pallets, cages) using long mast reach forks. Your tasks will not be limited to those of a Driver - you will be expected to help with 'off-truck' duties including material handling and helping to load machine lines.

To be successful for this position, candidates must bring the following attributes:

- In date FLT Bendi licence (must be within 3 years of issue)
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Duties involve regular and repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting
- Happy to work on and off the truck

Hours of work are: 0600-1330 / 1330-2100 (rotating weekly)

Pay rate: £13.64 per hour, plus overtime rates at time x 1.3 / time x 1.5 and time x 2 (as appropriate).
