Job Description: As a Health and Safety Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of effective health and safety procedures across the organisation. This office-based role will require you to work closely with HR manager and employees to identify potential hazards, develop safety policies, and promote a culture of safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver health and safety training programs to employees as required.
- Keep abreast of changes in health and safety legislation and ensure organizational compliance.
Requirements:- Proven experience working in a health and safety role, preferably in an office environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification preferred but not essential.
