Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and develop a team to achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets

    • Develop and implement commercial sales strategies that support business growth

    • Drive collaboration across sales teams to maximise customer opportunities

    • Analyse sales performance, forecasts and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement

    • Take ownership of pricing strategy to maximise margins while maintaining customer value

    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, supporting key accounts where required

    • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience

    • Monitor competitor activity and respond with effective commercial initiatives

    • Foster a positive, customer-focused culture built around accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement

About You
  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager or similar commercial leadership role

    • A proven track record of leading and motivating successful sales teams

    • Experience selling physical products within sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, engineering, industrial, steel or similar

    • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret sales data, produce forecasts and make informed business decisions

    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels

    • A hands-on leadership style with a passion for coaching, developing and inspiring people

    • A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve performance, processes and customer outcomes
