Ready to take ownership of quality and make a real impact? We’re looking for a driven Quality Manager to lead quality, strengthen supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across a manufacturing business. If you can challenge processes, solve problems and deliver lasting results, this is an opportunity to make your mark.

The  Role:
You will lead quality across the business, taking ownership of ISO management systems, supplier and customer quality, internal processes and continuous improvement. Working cross-functionally, you will ensure standards are consistently applied, quality issues are resolved effectively and corrective actions prevent repeat failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Quality: Manage supplier approval, audits, performance monitoring, non-conformances and improvement programmes.

    • Customer Quality: Manage customer complaints, CCARs and NCRs, leading containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions through to verified closure.

    • ISO Management Systems: Maintain and develop ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, coordinate internal and external audits, and ensure findings are closed effectively.

    • Quality Planning: Apply APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans and statistical process control (SPC) to support product and process quality.

    • Total Quality Management: Drive consistent processes and quality accountability across Purchasing, Sales, Finance, Warehouse, Production and support functions.

    • Continuous Improvement: Monitor KPIs, analyse quality trends, report performance and lead improvement projects to reduce defects, costs and repeat issues.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven quality management experience within manufacturing, engineering or component supply.

    • Practical experience in supplier and customer quality, audits, NCRs, 8D investigations and corrective actions.

    • Experience managing ISO 9001 and supporting external audits, with working knowledge of ISO 14001.

    • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans and SPC.

    • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.

    • Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge suppliers and drive improvements.

Desirable: Quality or engineering qualification, auditor training, automotive or international supplier experience, and knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma.

Hours and Benefits
  • Monday–Thursday: 08:15–17:00

    • Friday: 08:15–13:45

    • Holiday: 25 days per year

    • Pension: 5% employer contribution

    • Life Insurance: Four times annual basic salary

If you’re a proactive quality professional ready to take ownership, improve performance and embed a culture of continuous improvement, we’d like to hear from you.
