Job Title: Sales Manager - Packaging Machinery

Location: South Bristol

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in selling packaging machinery to lead our sales efforts " worldwide". The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales, building strong client relationships, and achieving targets in the packaging machinery industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out and cultivating new relationships.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favourable terms for both parties.
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management, keeping them informed of progress and challenges.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:

Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the packaging machinery industry.
Strong understanding of packaging machinery and related technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute successful sales plans.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed.
