HR Administrator
Bristol | Up to £30,000 | Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid working
Are you an experienced HR Administrator ready to broaden your generalist HR experience and take the next step in your career?
We’re recruiting an HR Administrator to join a small, experienced HR team within an established business in Bristol.
This is a varied role covering the employee lifecycle, with plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge, broaden your experience and take greater ownership as you progress.

The role
Working as part of a supportive HR team, you’ll help keep day-to-day HR activity running smoothly while gaining exposure across a broad range of HR activities.
You’ll be:
• Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding
• Maintaining accurate employee records
• Preparing HR reports
• Supporting learning and development activities
• Assisting with graduate recruitment
• Coordinating absence administration and records
• Supporting annual performance management administration
• Monitoring the HR inbox and responding to queries
• Getting involved in wider HR projects
What we’re looking for
You’ll need previous experience working within HR, with a good grounding in HR administration and a genuine interest in continuing to develop your HR knowledge.
You’ll also be:
• Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Accurate with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and practical in your approach
• A clear and confident communicator
• Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
• Able to work through unfamiliar tasks and find solutions
• Collaborative and comfortable building relationships across a business
You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported by an experienced team, with training and opportunities to learn as you gradually take greater ownership of your work.
