Duties will initially centre around sales and purchase ledger, including raising P.O.s, invoices, credit notes and reconciling finance records.
Later on you will get involved in:
budgetary forecasting and variance analysis,
assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
accruals, prepayments and journal posting
tracking costs and ensuring authorisation
assisting with audits
Ultimately you will be reporting directly to and working with the FD on all accounting matters including running ad hoc finance projects as the job evolves in to a management role.
