An exciting opportunity for an experienced SME account handler to join a team of existing account handlers for a commercial insurance team based in Stourbridge.
The main duties will be:
New business quotations for specialist and private vehicles.
Handle incoming calls relating to existing clients - this may consist of midterm adjustments, renewal queries, cancellations, and any other enquiries.
Handle incoming post, web enquiries, etc as distributed by your line manager
Working to daily targets and KPI's
Process new business, renewal and midterm documentation
Any other duties as required by your manager in accordance with the nature of the position
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
English and Maths GCSE at C Grade or above
Ideally Cert CII qualified (if not already qualified this will be a requirement for completion in the first 12/18months)
Five years' experience in general commercial insurance
Competent in all aspects of commercial insurance
Strong negotiation skills
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
